Persian art and architecture has one of the richest art heritages in world history and is known for its intricacy, workmanship and grandiosity. Its distinctive designs have inspired numerous artists. ‘Sarah’ came to life as a result of the designer’s love for the same.

Sarah in Farsi means a thing of delicacy and beauty. The designer has incorporated a modern colour story drawing on the inspiration of the magnificent geometrical patterns (tessellations), rich flora and fauna and intricate jewel tones of Persian art and design: a mix of contemporary surface designs on diverse Indian silhouettes. Sarah’s use of a wide range of colours along with the placement of art-inspired embroidery sets the designs apart from the more traditional bridal wear. Sarah was designed keeping in mind the modern Indian woman’s love for traditional ensembles with contemporary flair.
